2010 Day Night Thriller - Update

Ok so the 2010 Day Night Thriller has been and gone.  MB Century's two teams "The Grubby Pubbers" and "MB Century - The Serious Team" did very well on the day.  Though it really has to be said that the "Serious Team" did exceptionally well, finishing 37th out of 330 teams and placing 14th in the Open Category!  A fun day (and night) was had by all despite the rain, mud and cold weather.

Thanks to all who helped with the organisation of the MB Century site, which included the marquee (with the huge MB Century banner that could be seen from almost all of the sites!), the food (thanks Yeoy for being the BBQ cook, the fire gave the pork the perfect crackling. Well done!), drinks, sky tv (to watch the rugby test match!) and of course to all of the supporters who came along and cheered our teams on!

2010 Day Night Thriller

MB Century NZBU have entered two teams to compete in the "2010 Day Night Thriller" mountain biking event to be held in Taupo, New Zealand on 11 September 2010.  This was the largest MTB event in New Zealand last year with over 3,000 riders.

The two MB Century teams, "The Grubby Pubbers" and "MB Century - The Serious Team" will compete on an 8km, 30 minute circuit over 12 hours from 10am to 10pm.
